GBK STUDIO built the Calculator Hide Files Pro app as a paid application. This SERVICE is provided by GBK STUDIO at a one-time purchase cost and is intended for use as is.

This page informs users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone who decides to use our Service.

By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

Calculator Hide Files Pro is designed to work primarily offline.

We do not collect, store, or upload your personal files, hidden files, passwords, photos, or private data to any server. All hidden content remains securely stored on your device.

However, the app may collect limited technical information through third-party services for analytics and app improvement purposes.

Permissions We Use

Internet Permission

Used for: In-app browser functionality, Loading secure web content, Online features requested by the user

We do not monitor or store your browsing activity.

All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)

This permission is required to: Hide and unhide files, Manage files stored on your device, Access files selected by the user, All file operations occur locally on your device.

We do not upload, transfer, or share your files with any server or third party.

This permission is mandatory for Android 11+ devices for proper app functionality.

Camera Permission

Camera access is used only when: User enables hidden selfie feature, User uses camera inside web browser (if a website requires it)

We do not upload or store camera images on any external server.

Microphone Permission

Microphone access is used only when: A website opened in the in-app browser requests audio access, Online voice or meeting features are used

We do not record or store audio data.

Biometric Permission

Used for: Fingerprint authentication, Secure access to hidden files, Biometric data is processed securely by the Android system.

We do not access or store your biometric information.

Third-Party Services

The app may use the following third-party services:

• Google Play Service 

• Google Analytics for firebase 

These services may collect: Device information, App usage statistics, Crash reports, IP address (for analytics purposes)

We do not control how third-party services handle data. Please review their respective privacy policies.

Log Data

In case of an app error, we may collect log data via third-party tools. This may include:

Device IP address, Device name, Operating system version, App configuration at time of error, Date and time of usage

This data is used only for debugging and improving app performance.

The app itself does not use cookies directly.

We value your trust and implement commercially reasonable security measures.

All hidden files remain stored locally on your device.

User Authentication Data

When you create an account or login to the app, we only collect the necessary information (such as your Email ID, User ID, Profile Info or Auth Tokens) to authenticate and securely link your data.

Google Drive API & Scope Disclosure (mandatory as per Google policies)

Our app uses your Google Drive only to back up and restore the files you select. We don't read, change, or access any other files in your Drive.

Limited Use Clause: Data obtained from the Google Drive API is used only to provide the app's functionality (Backup/Restore) and is not shared with or sold to any third party.

Account and data deletion policy

1. In-App Deletion - The "Delete All Data" option in the app lets you instantly delete your login account, local (hidden) files, and backup data in Google Drive.

2. Request Deletion - If you would like to have your login account deleted through us, please visit our [Delete Login Account] page and submit a request. We will permanently delete your account (name, email address and profile photo) from our servers within 7 days of receiving your request. We will notify you via email once the deletion is complete.

(Note: If you also want to delete your files stored in Google Drive or local app data, please use the "Delete All Data" feature within the app before sending the request.)

Security & Encrypted Storage

Your login credentials and backup tokens are protected by industry-standard encryption.

Links to Third-Party Websites

The in-app browser may open third-party websites.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites.

Users are advised to review the privacy policies of those websites.

Children’s Privacy

This app is not directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
